Industry

Anime Expo (AX), the main event of the SPJA serves to foster trade, commerce and the interests of the general public and animation/comics industry. As the largest anime/manga convention in North America, AX is a key meeting place for members of the industry to conduct business and exhibit to the general public. At AX, the brightest and most innovative minds and influential decision makers meet to talk about ongoing industry trends and how these trends will impact the U.S. and international markets at large.

Industry Focus Panels

Industry Focus Panels highlight product announcements, company news, and the latest and greatest in what's going on in the anime and manga marketplace. AX has played host to numerous series announcements and premieres from the leading companies in the industry.

SPJA Industry Reception and Awards

The SPJA Industry Awards are an annual event that coincides with the Industry Reception at Anime Expo. Using input from the anime industry, the staff of the SPJA, and the fans, the SPJA Industry Awards recognize the best new anime and manga as well as the artists and companies that create the properties we all enjoy.
