The SPJA is staffed primarily by volunteers who share our interests and goals and work to help make the SPJA success.Our CultureThe SPJA is passionate about Japanese Animation, manga, and their related interests, and works hard to make Anime Expo, its primary event, reflect that passion. Our goal is to make AX a place that brings together fans, industry, and all other stakeholders to share, celebrate, promote, and educate Japanese animation, manga, and their related interests.As a primarily volunteer organization, SPJA and AX staff work hard throughout the year to ensure our events are run smoothly and are fun. Our planning for next year's event starts before this year's event. Creativity, innovation, and adaptability are important ideals for us. SPJA and AX staff devote countless hours throughout the entire year to AX's development, planning and organization. Many travel from all parts of the country and take vacation time from their real life pursuits to dedicate their commitment. With over 600 volunteers, the SPJA is constantly looking for individuals to help our organization. Current OpeningsHere are some specific positions we'd like to fill.
